Christmas in Paris
In the summer of 2023, I planned a trip to Paris for the week of Christmas
in December with my cousin. We constructed an itinerary with a blend of planned and spontaneous activities. Highlights included Christmas Mass at Sacré-Cœur, visiting landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and Versailles, and Disneyland Paris. Our trip was rich in culture, diverse cuisine, and iconic Parisian experiences, making it an unforgettable adventure.
Weekend Getaway: Universal’s Mardi Gras
After attending Universal's Halloween Horror Nights, I aimed for the Mardi Gras event in February and March, seizing a last-minute flight deal and discounted accommodations. Mardi Gras was a thrill with a lively parade and a DJ Khaled concert, complemented by diverse, delicious food stands. Despite the busy schedule, the experience was enchanting and comparable to EPCOT's festivals, proving both enjoyable and budget-friendly.
Can you do Disneyland Paris in One Day?
Over Christmas week in 2023, my cousin and I visited Disneyland Paris, utilizing both a one-day ticket and Premier Access Ultimate to maximize our one-day experience amid holiday crowds. We managed to enjoy numerous rides, incorporating both romanticized attractions and newer offerings like the Avengers Assemble: Flight Force. Despite the high cost, I found the investment worthwhile for extensively experiencing the park in one day.
A Staycation at The Conrad Nashville
During the Presidents' Day 2024 weekend, I enjoyed a staycation at The Conrad Nashville, a luxury hotel with a prime location near Nashville's top attractions. I was impressed by the hotel's amenities, and the restaurant Blue Aster, where I savored well-prepared meals, from crispy octopus to a perfect filet and a delightful breakfast omelet. The room was equipped with modern comforts providing stunning city views, and the staff's friendliness enhanced my relaxing experience. Overall, the Conrad Nashville is highly recommendable for a luxurious and memorable stay.
